If you’re a connoisseur of the latest in fuzzed-out heavy music, Sun Voyager are a band that should have a place on your radar. Filtering their brand of fuzz rock through a shoegaze lens, “Too Much,” a new single you can stream below, stands out as a unique and easily recognizable tune.
“Probably one of the heaviest songs on the album,” says singer Carlos Francisco. “I really wanted to push it vocally. The instrumentals set a really specific vibe for the song and I had to do my part vocally and lyrically to match that. Not all our songs are drafted through an identical equation..so I think it’s an interesting experiment to write melodies and lyrics after the song has already been mapped out.”
