Go ahead and immerse yourself in the two minutes of noise rock chaos and insanity that is the new track, “Ol Man Shleep,” from Philly quartet My Wife Is an Angel. It’s a full-tilt dash toward oblivion with Boone (guitar), Fancy (bass), Jagwah (drums) and G (vocals) more or less playing whatever the fuck they want. The relentless drumming seems like the only semi-coherent thing happening here. Otherwise it’s just a harsh wash of guitar skree, ranting vocals and general insanity. Enjoy!
“Ol Man Shleep,” is one of 12 tracks on the upcoming album, Yeah, I Bet, which was recorded by Dan Angel and mastered by Alex Nagle. It’s set for release on April 18 on vinyl, cassette, CD and digitally via Knife Hits Records in collaboration with Broken Cycle Records and GRIMGRIMGRIM. Place your preorder here.
