Hailing from Portland, noise rockers Maximum Mad are the opposite of the doom bands the city has become known for. Driven by speed and noise, the quartet play tongue-in-cheek songs that remain aggressive, like “Obscene Gestures,” which you can stream below. “Obscene Gestures” comes from Maximum Mad’s Dear Enemy EP, which is out on Good to Die Records on September 15.
