TOMBS have announced a new album!
Titled Feral Darkness, the upcoming album from the New Jersey-based experimental metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s Under Sullen Skies, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Redefining Darkness.
The upcoming album sees the band returning with a new label and a new sound. While still rooted in black metal, the record also embraces gothic and death rock influences, intending to result in the band’s darkest and most haunting material to date.
Speaking about the upcoming album, founder and frontman Mike Hill says, “on Feral Darkness we are going deeper into the abyss, adding layer of expression that we’ve been working on over the last decade. The new album is the closest we have come to date with realizing our journey into the darker aspects of the cosmos with a healthy dose of personal introspection.”
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released the title track, Feral Darkness.
