ROYAL SORROW have announced their debut album!
Titled Innerdeeps, the upcoming album from the Finnish progressive metal band is their debut full-length album, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via InsideOut Music.
First making waves with their 2024 debut single Metrograve, the band have since built a growing following through their technical precision, immersive soundscapes, and dynamic songwriting. The upcoming album continues to explore themes of introspection, identity, and emotional resilience.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, ROYAL SORROW have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Release Your Shadow. The new song is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Give In, Evergreen, and Metrograve.
Speaking about the new single, the band says, “the song is a vocal-driven journey about learning to accept imperfection – a celebration of uniqueness. It urges one to face their darkest parts and, instead of suppressing them, recognize them as an integral element of who we are.”
