RISE AGAINST have announced a new album!
Titled Ricochet, the upcoming album from the Chicago-based punk rock band is the follow-up to 2021’s Nowhere Generation, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Loma Vista Recordings.
The upcoming album was produced by Catherine Marks [BOYGENIUS, FOALS, MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA, ST. VINCENT] and was mixed by Alan Moulder [NINE INCH NAILS, PARAMORE, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, THE KILLERS].
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; I Want It All. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Nod and Prizefighter.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Tim McIlrath shares, “the algorithm wants our attention so it is designed to make us laugh or cry, but mostly, it wants us to be angry, because that is how it spreads the furthest. Like a pile of marbles, hit hard. Who benefits from our anger? Questions we don’t ask, as we fire away.”
