We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the brand new album from WREN!
The new record, titled Black Rain Falls, is the staggering new effort from the London-based atmospheric sludge metal band and ahead of its release tomorrow, we are delighted to premiere the album in its entirety!
The theme of the new record intends to showcase the shared grief of the band members, who tragically lost a close friend to suicide during the pandemic. Black Rain Falls intends to serve as a coping strategy for the band to navigate through the loss.
Speaking about the upcoming album, the band tells us, “the new record is a crystallisation of the conceptual voice-giving to natural collapse, humanity’s decline and the shadowed spectre that has imbued WREN since the beginning.”
