MÉLANCOLIA have announced a new album!
Titled random.access.misery, the upcoming album from the Australian deathcore band is the follow-up to 2023’s HissThroughRottenTeeth, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Nuclear Blast Records/Greyscale Records.
“While there has been a departure from straight up deathcore, we feel this song sounds even more representative of MÉLANCOLIA,” says vocalist Alex Hill about the upcoming album.
The band adds, “we are bringing a fresh sound to an otherwise stale scene, you will not hear what we are doing from anyone else. We are setting the trend as we set the bar for modern heavy music. Love us or hate us, you will fucking remember us.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; ALL_IS_RUST. Speaking about the new song, Hill says, “after testing the waters debuting this song in Europe earlier this year we can confirm this one is already a crowd favourite.”
