MAYDAY PARADE have released a brand new single!

The new track, titled One Day At A Time, is the second single to be lifted from the band’s upcoming album SAD, which is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Rise Records. The record marks the second instalment of their three-part album project celebrating the band’s 20th anniversary, following on from Sweet, which was released back in April.

Speaking about the new song, guitarist Brooks Betts says it is, “a song about growing through life and getting better as you go. Correcting the past mistakes and understanding that life changes and evolves. It’s self-reflection and knowing that no one is perfect.”

One Day At A Time follows the previously released single Under My Sweater, an old-school emo anthem that nods to the sounds of early 2000s pop-punk. Both tracks will appear on SAD, which reunites the band with longtime collaborators Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, and showcases MAYDAY PARADE leaning into atmosphere and introspection while retaining their signature soaring melodies and emotional honesty.

SAD is set for release on October 3rd via self-release. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
