LA ReidL.A. Reid is out as chairman and CEO of Sony’s Epic Records after six years. The axe fell just a month after former Columbia Records boss Rob Stringer became CEO of Sony Music Entertainment.

The sudden shift was unexpected given that Reid delivered two #1 albums so far in 2017 from Future and major hits from DJ Khaled and Travi$ Scott.
