Eagle-eyed viewers of Late Night with Seth Meyers last week got a nice look at Blake Shelton guitarist Kevin Post’s brilliant Gretsch G5620T-CB Electromatic® Center Block in a custom Silver Sparkle finish as he backed up the country superstar during a fantastic performance of brand-new track “Turnin’ Me On” from Shelton’s latest release Texoma Shore.
Post is known to tour with a pair of these Silver Sparkle axes and is a big fan of the Bigsby String-Thru vibrato tailpiece, telling Reverb, “It’s not a Gretsch without a Bigsby.”
