DEEP POCKET
Last month, we began our look into Josh Smith’s song “Pusher,” a track that originally appeared on 2014’s Over Your Head and is also included on his latest release, Live at the Spud. “Pusher” is a funky, syncopated 12-bar blues tune in the key of G, played with a swing-16ths feel and as deep a pocket as we can possibly lay down.
