EVANESCENCE have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Fight Like A Girl, is the brand new single from the American alternative metal band and follows on from their previous single, Afterlife, which was released back in April.
The new song plays over the end credits of Ballerina, the latest film in the John Wick franchise. The new music video was directed by Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick films and producer of Ballerina.
“Ballerina has been an incredible ride that pushed me to team up with some of my heroes in both music and film,” frontwoman Amy Lee says. “Along the way the project just kept getting bigger and better, and when it was time to talk about a video for Fight Like A Girl, I was dead set on it being Chad. I just refused to shut up about it until it happened! We had so much fun making this, and Chad was a dream to work with. We are all absolutely thrilled to share what we made together.”
Chad Stahelski adds, “when we finished making Ballerina, we knew we wanted to end the film with a song that personified the tone and energy of John Wick but with its own identity. After talking with our composer Tyler Bates, we knew who we wanted… Amy Lee and EVANESCENCE. They delivered one of the best main on-end songs ever, a song that captures the film’s character and leaves the audience smiling as they leave the theater. To be part of the journey and to be able to work with the band on their music video was one of the best, and certainly one of the most fun, experiences of my career.”
