DINOSAUR PILE-UP have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Love’s The Worst, is taken from the Leeds-based alternative rock band’s upcoming new album, I’ve Felt Better, which is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Mascot Records.

The upcoming album intends to channel arena-ready pop-punk energy through themes of heartbreak and emotional recovery. Alongside the album announcement, the band have released a new single from the upcoming release; titled Love’s The Worst, the new single is out now.

Speaking about the new single, frontman Matt Bigland says, “cards on the table. I wrote Love’s The Worst after getting broken up with (cool thing #1), on my birthday (cool thing #2), during lockdown (cool thing #3) and then realizing that the person who had just split up with me had actually gotten back with their ex for a week or two already whilst we were still together (cool thing #4). It’s fair to say that making that realization really sucked! Lyrically, LTW is a pretty direct song, and I think it captures really well the frustration and hurt that comes with having your heart trodden on pretty good. But hey, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

I’ve Felt Better is set for release on August 22nd via Mascot Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
