Damnation Festival have announced three new bands for this year’s festival!
Following June’s announcement – which saw ANAAL NATHRAKH, COILGUNS and HIDDEN MOTHERS confirmed – now, another three bands have been announced for this year’s extreme metal festival in Manchester!
Canadian black metallers SPECTRAL WOUND will make their debut at the festival alongside THE WORLD IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE…. Also confirmed is US metalcore stalwarts DEADGUY.
Speaking about the new single, festival organiser Gavin McInally says, “SPECTRAL WOUND are one of the most in-demand black metal bands in the world right now, especially with our fanbase, so we had to tempt them over from Canada for our 20th anniversary party. Our plan is to have them close the Cult Never Dies Stage on Sunday, alongside WIEGEDOOD, for a three-hour barrage of the finest black metal.
TWIABP live is an incredible prospect in any given year but with their new, more aggressive, direction being teased on singles from their forthcoming record, this set could be particularly lively. We’re absolutely delighted to welcome them to Damnation for the first time.
Those who attended in 2023 will recall being promised old and new DEADGUY material, but it didn’t quite go to plan. So we have the metalcore legends back for a set that will deliver the classics alongside the equally chaotic brilliance of their new album.
This line-up is the best we’ve ever put together, with six more incredible bands to come, and as a result ticket sales are the best we’ve ever seen. Don’t miss out on the metal party of the year.”
Damnation Festival 2025 takes place at BEC Arena, Manchester from 8th November – 9th November 2024. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
