Four new bands have been announced for this year’s Damnation Festival!
Following last month’s announcement, which saw the likes of DEAFHEAVEN, ONSLAUGHT, MESSA and more confirmed, now, another four new bands have been announced for this year’s extreme metal festival in Manchester!
Leading the charge in the new announcement is fast rising Swedish melodeath outfit ORBIT CULTURE, whilst Canadian black metallers PANZERFAUST will perform at the 20th anniversary bash in Manchester this November. Also confirmed for this year’s festival is US sludge trio ORYX and Sweden’s post-rock outfit EF, who’ll perform an exclusive run through of their Give me Beauty… or Give me Death record.
Speaking about the new announcement, festival organiser Gavin McInally says, “following their last sold-out UK tour and impressive performances in arenas earlier this year, we’re delighted to welcome ORBIT CULTURE to Damnation for the first time as they continue their rise to the top of the melodic death pile. PANZERFAUST are one of black metal’s hottest properties with a live show to do the hype justice, so we’re chuffed to have been able to tempt them across the Atlantic for this showing.
Denver’s ORYX may not yet be a household name on these shores but if you like your doom and sludge heavier than a death in the family, then get their Primordial Sky record on repeat as it’s something quite special. And finally, the sublime EF round off this wave of additions not only with their stunning take on post-rock, but with a 20th anniversary of their debut record, which transports you a million miles from a Manchester industrial estate.
There’s so much more to come. If you haven’t taken the leap of faith yet, now is the time with more than half of our ticket allocation gone and 20 bands, including headliners to be announced.”
Damnation Festival 2025 takes place at BEC Arena, Manchester from 8th November – 9th November 2024. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
