CONJURER have announced a brand new album!
The upcoming album, titled Unself, is the third full-length release from the British metal heavyweights, the follow-up to 2022’s Páthos, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Nuclear Blast Records.
Unself documents a deeply personal journey for vocalist/guitarist Dani Nightingale, who was diagnosed with autism at age 31 and came to understand their non-binary identity during the writing process. These vignettes of processing and self-actualisation take place against the backdrop of a society careening towards glassy-eyed capitalist dystopia; finding firm footing eludes many of us – and CONJURER delve headfirst into exploring these suffocating new societal parameters.
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released a brand new single, titled Hang Them In Your Head. Speaking about the new record, the band shares, “Unself is a record that we have put everything of ourselves into, in a way that we didn’t think possible for this band. Hang Them… is only the beginning. Thank you all for your patience, we are happy to report that it will be worth the wait.”
