It’s time to officially crack open the full band lineup for the second annual Decibel Metal & Beer Fest!
We love imports, so Decibel tapped Sweden and England for this year’s headliners. Death metal legends At the Gates (Saturday) and Carcass (Sunday) will provide last-call each night. Saturday’s high-gravity hitters are Monster Magnet, Pallbearer, Integrity, Evoken, Full of Hell and Spirit Adrift. On Sunday, return for round two with Mayhem, Repulsion, Dream Death, Sumerlands, Spectral Voice and All Hell and culminate a devastating weekend of intoxicating metal mayhem.

Get blinded by beer on Saturday and Sunday, March 31-April 1, 2018, as North America’s only monthly metal magazine brings the loudest, heaviest, two-day craft beer festival in the world back to The Fillmore Philadelphia!
Only the most metal breweries have been selected, with six flagship breweries: Three Floyds (IN), TRVE (CO), Hammerheart (MN), Burial (NC), Hoof Hearted (OH) and Burnt Hickory (GA), as well as 14 new additions: Weyerbacher (PA), Yards Brewing (PA), Stoudts Brewing (PA), Adroit Theory (VA), Oliver Brewing (MD), DC Brau (DC), Phantom Carriage (CA), Societe (CA), Wayfinder (OR), Jester King (TX), Broken Goblet (PA), Brash Brewing (TX), Strangeways (VA) and Local Option (IL). Not only will their beer be available at the fest, the metalhead brewers that own and work at these breweries will be there to enjoy the music, toast festival-exclusive samples and engage attendees about their exotic brews.
To raise the bar even higher for this year’s festival, Gimme Radio has joined the team as the Official Radio Station of Decibel Metal & Beer Fest. As the world’s only metal monthly, partnering with the only streaming service dedicated to extreme music was a no-brainer for Decibel. In the lead up to the event, Gimme Radio will host exciting promotions, giveaways and special DJ sets devoted to the Metal & Beer Fest lineup.
Decibel is also honored by the support received from the craft beer pioneers at Weyerbacher Brewing, Stoudts Brewing and Yards Brewing Co. Given the festival’s Philadelphia location and Decibel’s bloody Pennsylvanian roots, expect a steady weekend flow of suds and brotherly love.
As this is a metal and beer fest, there will be two ticketing options for each day. The “Metal and Beer” ticket gives attendees access to pours from all 20 breweries, as well as admission to that day’s show. The “Just Metal” option—limited to 500 per day—provides access to the show, but not the pours. Customers who purchase “Just Metal” tickets can still buy beers from selected participating breweries on-tap at the venue.
There’s no denying that the inaugural Decibel Metal & Beer Fest—the first-ever part metal fest, part craft beer fest—was a groundbreaking event. But on March 31 & April 1, 2018, we’re coming back for another round. Bottoms up!
