CARACH ANGREN have announced a brand new EP!

Titled The Cult of Kariba, the upcoming EP from the Dutch symphonic horror metal band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s Franckensteina Strataemontanus, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Season of Mist. The EP marks a new chapter in the band’s catalogue, weaving a five-part narrative through historical legend, occult lore, and gothic horror.

Alongside the EP announcement, the band have released the lead single from the upcoming record: Ik Kom Uit Het Graf. The track marks a milestone in the band’s career as the first song written entirely in Dutch. Its narrative continues the Lammendam mythos, following the spectral return of a man poisoned by Kariba the Witch. Awakened by a secret cult’s misguided ritual, he rises from the grave to exact his revenge in an act of violence centuries in the making.

An official music video for the new single, produced and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Zoran Bihac: renowned for his collaborations with RAMMSTEIN and LINDEMANN.
