Bloodstock Festival have announced the first wave of bands for the 2026 edition of the festival!
Returning to Catton Park next August to celebrate its 25th anniversary, the legendary metal festival will once again host four days of heavy music across multiple stages. With the 2025 edition currently underway, featuring headliners TRIVIUM, MACHINE HEAD, and GOJIRA, attention now turns to next year’s milestone event.
Headlining the Ronnie James Dio main stage on Friday will be groove metal icons LAMB OF GOD. Speaking about their return, frontman D. Randall Blythe says, “we are thrilled to return to headline Bloodstock in 2026! The UK is one of our favourite countries in the world to play and Bloodstock is one of our favourite festivals. And to Bloodstock security… I will make sure I have my pass on me at all times. See you next August!”
Saturday’s headliner will be SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL, fresh off the release of their new album Grizzly. Closing out the weekend on Sunday will be none other than metal legends JUDAS PRIEST, celebrating over fifty years of heavy metal history.
Over on the Sophie Lancaster Stage, Thursday will be headlined by Canadian tech-death veterans CRYPTOPSY, performing a special 30-year anniversary set of None So Vile. Friday sees horror-punk icon WEDNESDAY 13 take the stage, while Saturday welcomes Norwegian progressive metal outfit LEPROUS. Sunday’s closer will be dark synth maestro CARPENTER BRUT.

Bloodstock Festival 2026 is set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from 6th August – 9th August 2025. Tickets will be available from Monday, August 11th and can be purchased here.
