Album Premiere: Question – Reflections of the Void

Following up a track premiere from a month and a half ago, today we are pleased to roll out an early stream of Question’s sophomore full-length Reflections of the Void in all its mesmerizing and downright bone-shaking glory. In these unprecedented times, when death metal is more popular than ever before in modern history, bands like this group of young Mexican death masters remind us that even amid the gross wealth of incredible bands, some bands will inevitably rise to the top. Deftly balancing intelligence and brutality, speed and innovation, with the release Reflections of the Void, Question claim nearly peerless heights. Reflections of the Void is hammer-smashed philosophy.

Reflections of the Void is our latest offering to the underground,” writes the band from their hometown in Querétaro, Mexico.” Like our previous releases, both music and lyrics are a failed attempt to depict the futile drama of human consciousness and the negation of self-awareness. [Lucas] Korte’s visual contribution is a well[-]aimed proposal of what was intended to portray through sound and words. The process of composition took around a year and a half, a time lapse in which the band was still adapting to a new line-up, but it’s fair to say the final result is in the same line as Question’s previous efforts.”
