British horror punk outfit CREEPER have announced a brand new album!
The upcoming album, titled Sanguivore II: Mistress Of Death, is the thematic sequel to 2023’s Sanguivore and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Spinefarm Records.
The upcoming album was once again produced by Tom Dalgety [GHOST, RAMMSTEIN, ROYAL BLOOD] and sees the band expand the creative universe of Sanguivore, drawing inspiration from the Satanic Panic era of the 1980s. The record introduces a new narrative centred around a vampire huntress known as the Mistress Of Death.
Speaking about the concept, vocalist William Von Ghould explains, “beneath the flashing neon of a distant dream, a rock and roll nightmare is coming true. A vampire band rampages across 1980s America, leaving only corpses behind. But on the horizon, a shadow stirs. Part slasher, part satanic panic nightmare, a new force rises through the mist, ready to hunt the hunter. The Mistress Of Death is a vampire huntress on a path to end this vampire bloodline for good. But can she stake their hearts before the final curtain falls?”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, CREEPER have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Blood Magick (It’s A Ritual). The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Headstones, which was released back in June.
Speaking about the new song, Von Ghould says, “a blood-soaked, sexed up, psychedelic vampire rock fantasy and easily one of the wildest videos we’ve ever made.”
