HOLY WARS have released a brand new music video!
The new single, titled Crucify, is the latest track from the Los Angeles-based alternative band and follows on from I Feel Everything, which was released in May.
Co-written and co-produced with Cody Quistad of WAGE WAR, Crucify is described as a no-apologies dark anthem for the scorned. Shifting between ethereal melodies and blood-boiling screams, the track delivers a visceral ride through vengeance and release, further pushing the limits of the band’s eclectic genre-bending style.
Speaking about the new single, vocalist Kat Leon says, “Crucify was written as a reckoning. Years ago, I got out of a toxic relationship – the last words my ex said to me were, ‘I wish you nothing but the worst.’ Within six months, both of my parents had passed away. I’ve carried the weight of those words like a curse, buried in grief and silence until now. Writing Crucify became my way of purging that pain and finally reclaiming my power.”
