BASK have announced a new album!
Titled The Turning, the upcoming album from the Asheville, North Carolina-based heavy psychedelic band is the follow-up to 2019’s III, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Season Of Mist.
The upcoming album was recorded at Echo Mountain Recording with producer and fellow Asheville fixture Kenny Harrington, who’s also worked alongside MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA.
Speaking about the upcoming album, the band shares, “we’ve been through so many trials and tribulations together over the past five years. We were knocked down by COVID, then by Hurricane Helene. Seeing this album finally come to light is therapeutic for us. The Turning is BASK at our finest. It’s our most cohesive and heartfelt effort, an ode to our mountain home in the sky.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Dig My Heels.
