MÅNEGARM have announced a new album!
Titled Edsvuren, the upcoming album from the Swedish Viking black/folk metal band is the follow-up to 2022’s Ynglingaättens Öde, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Napalm Records.
The upcoming album was recorded and mixed by Pelle Saether at Studio Underground, and was mastered by Sverker Widgren at Wing Studios. The epic cover artwork was created by Kris Verwimp.
Speaking about the upcoming album, the band shares, “2025 marks the 30-year anniversary for MÅNEGARM as a band and what better way to celebrate than to release a brand new album! Edsvuren (Sworn) is our 12th studio album and it showcases every corner of the MÅNEGARM music spectrum. After months of hard work we are so ready to release this beauty!”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Hör mitt kall. Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “Hör mitt kall is our first single from the new album. It’s heavy, it’s raw and it’s inspired by all the great heavy metal bands that made us fall in love with this kind of music! So get on board or move out of the way, this train won’t stop!”
