WYTCH HAZEL have announced a new album!
Titled V: Lamentations, the upcoming album from the Lancaster-based heavy metal band is the follow-up to 2023’s IV: Sacrament, and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via Bad Omen Records.
The upcoming album was recorded with longtime producer Ed Turner [THE ETTES, HEAVY TRASH, PURSON] and intends to build on the moment of the band’s previous work.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Elements.
“Elements is a nod to both 70’s FM radio rock and bands who experimented with interesting and progressive ideas such as BÖC and KANSAS,” vocalist/guitarist Colin Hendra shares. “Lyrically, I really enjoyed playing around with the concept of weather and how powerful and beyond the control of man it is. It felt like a challenge at the time, and a little out of my comfort zone, but I’m extremely happy with the song as a whole. It feels cohesive now the time has been spent on it.”
