BEFORE THE DAWN have announced a new album!
Titled Cold Flare Eternal, the upcoming album from the Finnish melodic death metal band is the follow-up to 2023’s Stormbringers, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Reaper Entertainment.
Cold Flare Eternal intends to capture the momentum of a band reborn. Recorded once again at guitarist Juho Räihä’s studio, the album brings together crushing heaviness, soaring melodies, and the atmospheric beauty of Finland’s dark landscapes.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Fatal Design. Speaking about the new song, guitarist Tuomas Saukkonen says, “Fatal Design shows the heavier side of the album and is an absolute no-brainer as an setlist song for the Fall EU tour. Catchy, heavy like a ten-ton hammer and pushes forward like a freight train.”
