DRAGGED UNDER have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track AlgoRHYTHM, is the brand new single from the Seattle-based hardcore band and follows on from their previous single, Mad Punks, which was released back in 2023. Both recent singles come on the back of the band’s latest studio album, 2022’s Upright Animals.
“AlgoRHYTHM is a commentary on the current meta of music promotion,” says vocalist Tony Cappocchi about the new single. Continuing he adds, “scrolling endlessly on artist accounts online only to see the same uninspired dancing and lip syncing to their newest song until inevitably it hits and goes viral or they move on. It almost feels as if artists don’t have to write good music, or don’t challenge themselves to create something they’re actually interested in, instead they’re writing FOR the Algorithms, with the end goal being ‘success at any cost’.”
