Neal Nagaoka: Midi Guitar 64 Software Experiment

This is an experiment with a new beta software called MIDI Guitar that I just got. It doesn’t require a midi pickup and converts the actual notes of a guitar into a MIDI signal. I just picked a simple progression to jam in Band In A Box to demo this using Amplitube synced with MIDI Guitar 64 software’s built in Synth Brass patch and layered the two sounds in unison to improvise over. The midi tracking isn’t perfect and there is a slight latency still so you can’t play too fast but it’s pretty good so I thought it would be a neat thing to try.
