Bandsintown has released a major app update designed to enhance concert discovery and artist to fan interactions. Bandsintown has become an essential tool for concert discovery and marketing with more than 65% of touring artists and 80% of Billboard Top 100 artists using the app to connect with fans, according to company estimates.
Bandsintown has released a major redesign of its concert discovery app that puts more emphasis on artist tools and establishing a deeper social connection between artists and fans.
With Bandsintown Version 6.1 , registered artists can manage their “Artist Page,” which now displays all of their “post to trackers.” This tool enables artists to set status updates to be sent to their fans about new music, tour dates and other announcements. Their posts will now also appear on their artist activity page.
“Our fans rely on Bandsintown not only to track the artists they love today, but also to discover their next favorite performers and live music experiences,” Bandsintown managing partner Fabrice Sergent said in a statement. “Our new features further empower artists to build upon the connection with their core fans.”
